Product Description and Application
4J32 is a typical low expansion alloy, also known as Super-Invar. 4J32 low expansion alloy has a very low expansion coefficient in the atmospheric temperature range (-60-80 ℃). Its good plasticity, stable performance, poor thermal conductivity. It is mainly used in the manufacture of precision parts with highly accurate dimensions within the range of ambient temperature changes, and precision instruments, instrumentation devices, resonant cavity parts and thermal bimetallic passive layers with extremely low expansion coefficients that require constant dimensions near normal temperature, and other radio frequency components, standard scales, astronomical instrument frames, clock balance wheels and other devices with very small scale drift with temperature changes.
The chemical composition of 4J32 low expansion alloy should be strictly controlled during use, and its organizational stability should be strictly tested according to the use temperature of the parts. When the alloy composition is deviated, the transformation of austenite (y) to acicular martensite (a) will occur in different degrees at room temperature and low temperature. Phase transformation, accompanied by the volume expansion effect, resulting in a corresponding increase in the coefficient of expansion of the alloy. 4J32 high nickel content, good plasticity, in the atmosphere, sea water, fresh water has good corrosion resistance.
