Product Description and Application
The titanium-stabilized Incoloy 825 nickel-based alloy is a fully austenitic nickel-iron alloy with the addition of copper and the rare metal molybdenum. It is Incoloy that 825 nickel-based alloys have corrosion resistance to strong acids and strong bases in both oxidizing and reducing environments.
Compared with ordinary austenite, nickel in nickel-based alloys can make them resistant to chloride stress corrosion, and molybdenum and copper can make them have strong corrosion resistance in reducing environments.
Chromium and molybdenum components can resist chloride pitting and corrosion in various oxidizing environments. Nickel can be added to make the material more stable during welding and not easily sensitized. This non-sensitizing property makes the material resistant to intergranular corrosion even when exposed to the sensitization temperature range. Incoloy 825 nickel-based alloy has good corrosion resistance to various processing environments, including sulfuric acid, sulfurous acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid, organic acids and bases such as sodium, potassium hydroxide, acid chloride, etc.
